FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Zn-Al-Mg coated steel is a type of advanced high-grade steel that is coated with a layer comprising zinc, aluminum, and magnesium. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, superior paint adhesion, and self-healing properties. It’s an economical alternative to hot-dipped galvanized steel.

  1. Environment: If you live in a corrosive or saltwater environment, aluminum is better because of its high resistance to corrosion.

  2. Strength: For windy or high load-bearing areas, steel is the better choice.

  3. Weight: Aluminum is much lighter, which makes it easier and cheaper to transport and install.

If conditions permit, we recommend using a ground screw foundation. However, we strongly advise conducting a soil test prior to installation to determine the most appropriate foundation for your specific circumstances.
